Ana Alonso Albarracín, who works under the artist name anabanabalalana, was born in Madrid and raised across Italy, France, Germany, and the UK. This eclectic upbringing has shaped her layered perspective and practice. Trained as both an artist and an architect, her work is most at home in the spaces where disciplines overlap.
She currently splits her time between developing a new body of print-based work and her role at Experience Studios, a creative agency where she designs immersive environments and exhibition spaces. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and at La Galleria Nazionale in Rome.
