Ramsgate novelist Andrea Bennett, returning from the Edinburgh International Book Festival, will read extracts from Galina Petrovna’s Three-Legged Dog and talk about being the first author selected by HarperCollins’s new imprint, Borough Press.

She’ll be followed by journalist and playwright Samantha Ellis, whose How To Be A Heroine, was described as ‘a truly brilliant read’ by Marie Claire and ‘delightful and hilarious’ by The Economist.

The day starts with ten authors from Vanguard Readings. Come and listen to Casualty actress Tam Hoskyns, award-winning Alex Catherwood, Jane Whitton from Broadstairs and Paul Dornan, writer of the Posh ‘n’ Becks sketches for Alastair McGowan’s Big Impressions.
