Oya Allen
Oya Allen is an artist working primarily in painting with a multi-stranded practice that is at times interdisciplinary. Her work draws on Eastern philosophies, energy medicine, alchemy, mythology, creation stories and psychoanalysis.
Oya is interested in working in ways that enable the discovery of new or unexpected forms and concepts. She believes in the transformative nature of making art and its potential to affect change in those who view it.
